Wonderful Service History
Supplied new by Waldron, Canterbury on 11th March 1987, this wonderful Porsche 924S, has had just one owner from new until September 2016. Finished in Guards Red, with a lovely contrasting parchment interior, with pinstriped seats and door cards.
Having been stored in a garage its whole life, this car is in remarkably good condition. It is believed to be original paint except for the front bumper. There is the odd age-related mark on the bodywork as one might expect, but the bodywork and paint finish is excellent, as it the original 924S graphics down the sides. The original Teledial wheels are believed to never have been refinished. It still has its original supplying dealer plates and window sticker from Waldron of Canterbury, the official Porsche Centre.
Inside the car the car is in great condition, the parchment interior is very 80’s with its pinstripe seat inserts. The driver seat bolster has been professionally, and seamlessly, replaced with the OEM material. As one might expect the rear seats are unmarked. The car benefits from an optional removable sunroof. Inside the car everything works, including the original radio.
Underneath the carpet in the boot, the condition is near immaculate! The car has its believed unused spare wheel and tyre. It also has its original tool roll, complete with tools. The engine bay is in lovely, original honest as is usually the case with lifelong garaged cars. The paintwork inside is lovely as is the all the rubbers, hoses and even original stickers. It’s just been very well looked after and well stored, and it shows!
The car has the most wonderful history file! The car has its full book pack in its original wallet, complete with its service book. The service book contains the early stamps, but the car has all the service invoices in its history file! It was serviced 19 times in 20 years up until 2008! The car has consecutive MOT’s from 1994 until 2009, all stored in the file. In 2017, the car has a major service including cambelts and auxiliary belts totalling over £1,600, and a new set of tyres are due to be fitted shortly.
It has had one owner from new until September 2016, when it was transferred from Aunt to Niece, to remove its cherished registration. It was then sold to the previous owner in February 2017 and it has covered some 700 miles since. It was recently serviced and MOT’d, a new battery has been recently fitted and the car has both sets of keys. It has a thick folder full of service invoices, old MOT’s and V5’s, as well as maintenance invoices throughout the years. A superbly maintained and very original 924S.
