First registered on the 16th September 1969, this stunning Mercedes-Benz 280SL really ticks all the right boxes! It comes in the desirable specification of a UK-supplied right hand drive 280SL, fitted with an automatic gearbox with power-steering.

Fresh from a full, no expense spared, cosmetic restoration, by all the right people, in its rather beautiful factory colour scheme of DB571 Metallic Red with Tan Leather. The car is fitted with a Black Soft top, as per the data card and has a matching hardtop, fitted with tinted glass.

Externally this car present like new, with beautiful new paintwork to an exceptional standard, with good panel gaps all over. The car is fitted with all new chromework, which really lifts the car and looks great against the deep red paintwork. The car is fitted with a new black soft top.

This car has had a complete hardtop restoration, which in itself is no small feat, included new paintwork, new chrome work, hardtop roof rails, new leather and a new headlining, all in the factory colours.

Inside the car has had a complete re-trim in Tan leather, replacing its original, but matching MB Tex. New carpets feature throughout and the dash wood work has been beautifully refurbished.

Under the bonnet, the engine has been beautifully detailed having been removed to repaint the car and as a result the paintwork surrounding the engine is flawless.
