This stunning Left Hand Drive 500SL was originally supplied to Mr Elmer Salgo in London by the Hughes Motor Company in September 1985 for a grand sum of £34,000 (That's £96,000 today!) and no expense was spared when choosing the specification of his car! It was then bought by ourselves and supplied in September 1998 to the previous owner, and we are delighted to have it back. It now in effect has had just three owners from new.

To find a good example of a R107 SL is a rarity, to find a great 500SL with just 46,500 miles in a fantastic colour scheme is next to impossible! Finished in Blue/Black Metallic with Grey Leather, with a matching hardtop and black soft top. Its great specification includes, rare and very desirable Climate Control/Air Conditioning, Heated Seats, ABS Brakes System, Cruise Control, Front Centre Arm Rest, Rear Seats, Tinted Glass, Electric Aerial, and Alloy Wheels.

The paintwork and chrome are superb, the interior of the car is faultless, with no signs of wear to either seats. The car still retains its original soft top in great condition. This car has the most fantastic service history dating all the way back to new, with the original purchase invoice and factory collection papers from Germany.
